Globetrotters and guests of the hottest hotels in the world are the inspiration for one of New York Fashion Week’s most coveted shows. Paris Hilton in the first row and a team of “It Girls” watched the come and go of models wrapped in fluid fabrics. The autumn winter collection of La Petite Robe, titled “Grand Hotel”, gave a show in silk and crepe georgette with metallic elements.
The creativity of the Italian designer who runs La Petite Robe, Chiara Boni, did not stop at the elegance of crepe overalls and collars inspired by tuxedos, there was also the practicality of maxi dresses and the romanticism of the sheaths with bows. And then … elegant men entered the catwalk, behind the models, carrying bags and boxes with red roses – the perfect setting for a parade that took place on Valentine’s Day.
